Georges Mirza, the President of AIL, officially received the "E" Award on November, 5th 2009 at a ceremony honored by U.S. Commerce Secretary Gary Locke, in Washington DC.
"Your company's attention to customer service by adapting prices and company literature for the local markets and providing in country technical support is noteworthy. Automation International's achievements undoubtedly have contributed to national export expansion efforts that support U.S. economy and create American jobs." said Gary Locke, United States Secretary of Commerce.
"This award is the result of excellent teamwork and a focus on quality. Everyone involved has contributed," said Georges Mirza, the President of AIL.
The President's "E" Award was created by Executive Order of the President on December 5, 1961, to afford suitable recognition to persons, firms, or organizations which contribute significantly in the effort to increase United States exports. It is the mark of excellence for any firm engaged in exporting their manufactured good or service and for export service providers.
